We are what we eat, such statement has proved to be truth for every person, but when we think about healthy meals, we find that they might take lots of time to get prepared and we choose to eat less nutritive foods.

That is why some people have come up with simple recipes of healthy meals which you can cook within minutes and which will get you hooked immediately.

I have searched for some of the tastiest ones, and here’s is how you can cook them out:

For Breakfast:

Toad in a hole: cut a circle in the center of a slice bread, place in a hot skillet with low head (add some olive oil first), then break an egg in the center of the toast, cook both sides and finally add salt and a just a bit of pepper.

Avocado Bacon Swiss Cheese Omelet: for this recipe you need 3 eggs, salt and pepper and 2 of half cream (sweet cream) and put it all together in a pan with some olive oil, when ready add 2 tablespoons of diced ripe avocado, swiss cheese and serve.

For Lunch or Dinner:

Avocado and Cilantro Chicken: For this recipe you will need 3 tablespoons olive oil, 1 tablespoon lime juice, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Pinch of basil, 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, 1 avocado, sliced into thin slices
Few sprigs cilantro, Monterey jack cheese.

All you need to do is to combine the olive oil, the spices and the lime juice in order to marinate the chicken for about 20 minutes, and then broil it until ready, then add the cilantro, the avocado and the cheese and back to the oven and wait until the cheese is melted.

As you can see you can eat tasty and healthy at the same time with these simple meals, try them out and say yes to life.
