The Sharks Leads Their Series To The Canucks 3-1 And Have The Chance Of Sweeping Vancouver

We are currently in the middle of the Stanley Cup playoffs quarterfinals and as of now only the Sharks have won 3 games as most series are either tied at 2 wins for each or one of the teams is currently beating the other 2-1.

The Canucks began the series with ice advantage but the Sharks went to Rogers Arena and returned home for game 3 with two road wins. Then the team from San Jose grabbed one more win at HP Pavilion and they are hoping to defeat their current rivals one more time on May 7 in order to win this round of the playoffs by a sweep. The Sharks won all their 3 regular season meetings against Vancouver.

The Senators Can Take Important Lead Over Favorites The Canadiens

To the surprise of many, the East’s second seed the Canadiens fell 4-2 to the Senators on game one at Bell Centre and although Montreal won game two, Ottawa managed to defeated the Canadiens again at Scotiabank Place, which means that a victory for the locals at game 4 can almost seal the destiny of one of the teams that was considered as one of the favorites to win the Stanley Cup before the playoffs began. The Senators have not been an easy rival for Montreal this year as both teams defeated the other twice during their 4-game regular season series.
