It is just the second time since 2002 that we see the second round of the NFL Playoffs entirely made of division champions. And what is more, 3 of the four games are rematches of games we saw during the regular season: The Pats defeated the Broncos, the Ravens beat the Texans and the Packers defeated the Giants. Though you can also count the Saints vs 49ers considering that New Orleans beat San Francisco in a game opener.
Packers vs Giants
Eli Manning is doing phenomenal this year, and the youngest in the Manning clan is looking forward to get his second Super Bowl ring, though he knows that his team will be playing against the current champions, and against Aaron Rodgers, another quarterback who is looking for his second ring. The secret for New York will be in controlling the clock, keeping Rodgers off the field as long as possible and keeping an eye on tight end Jermichael Finley, who couldn’t play during Green Bay’s last Super Bowl run, and who seems to be ready to give a good fight as he said that “The lights are on. And when the lights are on, I’m on.”

Ravens vs Texans
Joe Flacco has made it to the postseason in each of his first 4 four years playing in the NFL (the only quarterback to have done this in league history), but he has not been impressive in the 7 playoff games he’s played, though all of them have been in the road, which is why fans of the Ravens are hoping that their starting quarterback will finally make a difference now that he’ll be playing at home.
On the other hand, the Texans are a resilient team that has made it this far in despite of key losses that includes their starting quarterback Matt Schaub. Considering that they have a good running game, they have a chance of beating Baltimore if they can get rookie TJ Yates to work well with running back Adrian Foster.

Denver vs New England
The Broncos are arriving to their second game of the postseason with high spirits after upsetting Pittsburgh in the previous round, but the lost of Tim Tebow’s favorite weapon in Eric Decker means that New England will be focusing on double teaming Demaryius Thomas in an attempt to limit Denver’s passing options.
49ers vs Saints
The Saints, the Super Bowl champions from two years ago, are comfortable when they are playing at home, but it seems like playing on the road hasn’t been so good for them as they are currently 0-4 in road playoff games. Visiting San Francisco to play the Niners will certainly be a tough test for Drew Brees and the rest of the New Orleans franchise.
